My first marriage proposal !! :-P

This was completely unplanned and neither me nor my folks were prepared for it.I had never given a thought before about my marriage and stuff. The moment i learnt that i will be seeing some guy the next day, thousands of thoughts crossed my mind.I was wondering, how can i just decide that he is the guy i want to marry after just speaking to him who is completely unknown to me about whom i donno anything other than his name and qualification he he.One fact that all of us have to agree is we try to pretend to be good.Its all fake i feel.Having a smiling face always, being too conscious about your mannerisms, etc in front of them. All seems fake.We wont be ourself during that time.So, on what basis can i decide that he is the guy with whom i wanna live my life with? During this course of heavy thought processing in my mind, started feeling that this is a shitty process.Its strange but, true. All of us have to go through this if we choose to have a arranged marriage.
So, finally they came home the next day and saw me.I was damn tensed as it was my first time :-) A strange feeling.People make me sit and start firing questions at me and keep observing every slight move of mine.It was as if im an exhibition item piece and they were asking my worth ha ha.But, that guy had no questions :-P Finally, time for them to decide and they were happy with me.After too much of pushing by my chikki that guy agrees to speak to me for few minutes ( this was very embarrasing and strange as i had never seen any guy just agreeing because his folks are fine with it). He finally comes and the converstaion starts:

He: Sit
Me: no, you sit first (just for formality :-P)
Both of us sit
He: you have any questions? I dont have any!!
It was as if it was supposed to be some interview.Not even a "HI". I was like "what a start!!" he he
Me: Hmm no i guess
**********Silence**********
Being a gal, i had to start a nicer conversation had no option (sick!!)
Me: what are your hobbies?
He: I travel a lot, Im a blogger too. What about you?
Me: I like reading novels, a movie buff, travelling,blah blah blah (a bigger list compared to his :-P)
He: Oh ok. (thats all silence again!!)
Me: Which company you work in? (i knew but, still wanted the converstaion to go on so had no choice but to ask few obvious questions)
He: Bluechip software
********* Few other questions like whats your domain, where is the office and stuffs which lasted for some 3 minutes*********
He: I donno what else to speak
He calls his mom and asks his mom "Mom, i donno what to speak to her.What do i speak about?
She says share your interests and all and goes off
(I felt very embarrased for this)
He: Can I take your pic?
Me : Hmmmmmmmm (i never said a yes but, my silence was taken as "yes" and he took a pic with his cell)
He: You want my pic?
Me: Hmmm i donno where i have kept my cell (I din want to take but, was diplomatic hehe)
He: Then, shall we go back
Me: Yup (with a sigh of relief!)

Next day
I get a call at 7.15 from some woman who started calling me "ATTIGE". I later realised that she is his sister.I was sleeping when i got the call.
She starts off like it seems you din give your mob number to him, you din take his pic and all. I was like "Hello, nothing is decided still, what do you expect from me!"
I just spoke for the heck of it.
Go to office, i get a call from him and i dont pick that. This continued for some 3 to 4 days. Started getting messages, orkut friend requests and all which made me to take a tough decision. So, went home and told my folks that im not interested in that guy, plz let them know this as it is very disturbing to get calls from them when im not at all interested.
Finally, after few days my folks intimated them about the same.
